Movie Star Entrepreneur Short #10

Over the weekend I finished the Mission Impossible style entrepreneurial video I did with Phong Dang.

It’s what I consider to be a “Movie Star Entrepreneur” style video.

I believe online video is going to evolve drastically in the next few years from the current web cam and flip cam “off the cuff” style videos to the thought out, planned, and edited movie style videos that are designed to entertain, educate, and sell.

Here is our finished video:

If any of you want to collaborate on a video, let me know on my Movie Star Entrepreneur fan page by Clicking Here.

Next up I’m doing an “Iron Man” style video with Kyle Griffith to market his Free Blog Factory. In the video we’re branding him as “Blog Man”. ¬†It’s going to be fun and you’ll see the sort of special effects you see when Tony Stark is in the suit.

Movie Star Entrepreneur Short #9

Just did a video with Phong Dang.

He immediately understood my “Movie Star Entrepreneur” concept of branding ourselves using much of the same tactics the movie stars use to look cool on video. ¬†He wanted to do a Mission Impossible style video.

In this short I show the rough draft.  I wrote a script and had Phong shoot his scenes where he lives.  He then uploaded them to me so that I could edit them with the videos that I shot at my location.

If any of you want to hire me for a video idea of this kind to market your business, let me know.  You can message me on my fan page by Clicking Here.

How Movie Star Josh Brolin Shows You How To Make Yourself the Star Of Your Own Business – MSE Short #6

Movie Star Entrepreneur Short #6

In terms of marketing, us internet marketers (as would be obvious) are light years behind Hollywood, Fortune 500 corporations, and even normal businesses like local car dealers…it’s pretty obvious why.

They have money, can hire the best talent, and have thousands to tens of thousands of people to work on projects where we generally have just ourselves and maybe a secretary if we’re really on our game.

Watch this Mercedes Benz commercial:

Movie star Josh Brolin is the star of the commercial. ¬†It’s the perfect model of what I believe we can begin achieving.

It’s how I believe we can become the, “Movie Star Entrepreneurs” of our niches. ¬†This movie star is marketing a product for a car company. ¬†The ad has the feel of a movie.

Josh Brolin could just as easily have a company of his own and do his own commercials.  Many movie stars, models, rock stars, and rap stars end up doing this with their own lines of clothing, skin care products, and perfume.

They do it though after they become rich and famous so that they can maintain their rich and fame. ¬†When they start marketing their own products they have the best cameras, camera people, lighting, clothes, etc…

However…

We now have video cameras that are rather inexpensive that can achieve this same look.  Most of you now know that I have the Canon EOS 7D.

Check out a sample of the quality by Clicking Here. Keep in mind I didn’t color grade this or do anything especially fancy. ¬†I had just got it, taken it out of the box, and shot it as it was. ¬†Nothing fancy, and no special editing.

We can also buy reasonable clothes. ¬†It doesn’t have to be Armani. ¬†We can also rent a high priced car for our shoots.

I’m sure most of you realize that almost every car and house and woman in a rap video is rented. ¬†All of it. ¬†You can do the same thing for commercials for your business.

How can you market yourself in this way for your business?  Let me know your ideas in the comments.

Right now I’m working with one of my friends Phong Dang on a cool, “Mission Impossible” style video that we can use to market him as my first, “Movie Star Entrepreneur Of the Month”.

He came to me with the concept and we’re putting it together now. ¬†If any of you want to be a “Movie Star Entrepreneur Of the Month”, let me know a concept from a movie, TV show, or commercial that you think we can replicate.
