Movie Star Entrepreneur Episode #31
Okay, not a literal piggyback ride, but a metaphorical one.
Yesterday you saw my blog post asking what you thought of Tom Cruise’s new rebranding efforts playing Les Grossman at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.

I checked Google just 16 minutes after I posted the video. ¬†I Googled, “MTV Movie Awards 2010″.
At the bottom of the first page my video shows up for blog posts right with the MTV site and the Wall Street Journal.  All I did was had my post about a relevant topic that would clearly be searched for quite a bit over the next couple days.
Since my site is called, “The Movie Star Entrepreneur” I can always piggyback off recent events and famous people in order to get more traffic from the search engines.
Now most of this traffic will not be relevant to my site, but some of it will. ¬†Not only that, but it’ll likely bring more back links to my site from other bloggers who see me in the search and re-blog my post.
Think of ways you can piggyback off celebrities and recent big events to increase your traffic.
