Movie Star Entrepreneur Show – Episode #108

Video Quote of the Day: He [Conan] had his hair on fire. ¬†He was backstage or wherever he was…and I thought, “That’s pretty creative”.

Why is the title of this episode called, “Marshall Wayne Is The Hottest Man In The Galaxy”? It started when¬†I saw a great Conan ad with his hair on fire shown here:

Marshall Wayne Is The Hottest Man In The Galaxy

I decided to do a Photoshop image myself since I’d already done the MARS letters on fire one you see here:

Marshall Wayne Is The Hottest Man In The Galaxy

So I just took a photo of myself in front of the green screen and used the same tactic I used in the MARS letters on fire image to create this:

hottest-man-in-the-galaxy

If I wanted to be anal about it, I’d make it right, but it was only for fun. ¬†If it were for business I’d take more time on it.

I believe it’s essential to know how to use Photoshop to create promotional pieces for your business. ¬†Sure you can hire people to do it, but when you’re just starting out in business, you should bootstrap and learn things yourself.

That way, when you get an idea you can put it into action immediately. ¬†You don’t have to worry about hiring someone, what it’s going to cost, and whether they’ll understand your vision.

The second reason that I chose to use the phrase, “Marshall Wayne Is The Hottest Man In The Galaxy” is to test how quickly a Google ranking for the phrase would show up so I could use it as a long tail keyword case study.

Since the phrase, “Hottest Man in the Galaxy” is pretty much wide open, it should get a good ranking. ¬†Of course that wont help much for my business, but it’s a fun example.

I first got the idea from Ed Dale when he tried the same thing with “Hottest Man in the Universe” and still has the top ranking.

If anything, it’s a fun way to give your friends a little hell.
